Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, concluded a significant visit to Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, balancing top-level judicial talks with tours of the nation’s most important cultural and religious landmarks.
The visit commenced in a reception at Egypt’s Ministry of Justice, to which the Minister, Adnan Fanjari, welcomed Sheikh Sultan. The topic of discussion was UAE–Egypt channels of judicial relations, including legal training opportunities, judicial development best practices, and strengthening institutional cooperation. Sheikh Sultan also visited the ancient library of Arabic and English law books over a hundred years old in the Ministry and walked through staff facilities prior to gift exchange with Egyptian officials.
After judicial diplomacy, Sheikh Sultan moved on to cultural diplomacy when he toured Egypt’s giant Islamic Cultural Centre. The centre, covering more than 467,000 square metres, houses ancient Mamluk-inspired edifices along with modern architecture. They described its viewing deck with panoramic views, the House of the Quran—with priceless artifacts of great reciters—and 30 interactive halls designed to enhance contact with Islamic heritage.
The Deputy Ruler also voyaged Egypt’s ancient Grand Mosque, the world’s alternate- largest. The synagogue accommodates over 137,000 people, features two 148- cadence-high minarets, and a middle pate that tips the scales at 500 tonnes. The synagogue ‘s rustic riser is presently the largest in the world, pressing the scale and ambition of the adventure.
Sheikh Sultan‘s visit crowned at City of trades and Culture Opera House, the Middle East’s largest trades complex.
